New Features

• (Beta) Two PC setup without "localhost"

This feature is optional. You can turn it on to try it or leave it off and continue to use Now Playing as you always have.

This feature aims to remove the need to have Now Playing on both your streaming PC and DJ PC. In other words, you will only need Now Playing on your DJ computer.

To enable it, add "enableNp3Beta": true to your config.json file and restart Now Playing. If you have issues, remove this line and restart Now Playing to revert back.

Then on your DJ PC, start Now Playing normally. Go to the theme editor page and at the bottom you will find the URL for your overlay. It should look like https://app.nowplaying.com/overlay/xxxxxxx. On your streaming computer add a new browser source and use this URL. I recommend keeping your old "localhost" overlay as a backup in case you have issues.

Do not share your overlay URL with anyone.

There are several known issues:

• As of 2.4.0-beta.1 the only themes that work are Clean, Sideways, ASOT2K3.
• Switching themes works but custom colors / fonts, etc does not work yet.
• Other themes will be moved over online in the coming weeks.
• Updates and fixes to themes will NOT require you to download a new version of Now Playing.
